Terms of Use – Methods of Payment – Shipment of Goods

Α. Terms of Use of the Web Site

Browsing and use of the services of the web site mentioned below (section A.1.b) by visitors implies their explicit and unreserved acceptance of and consent to the following terms and conditions including all that is described in sections (B) & (C) of the text herein.

1. Definitions and Conventions
In the text herein, the following conventions have been adopted:

a) The "AETOS" association, whose offices are at 3, Aghiou Konstantinou Street, Piraeus, Attica, Greece, hereinafter and for brevity will be referred to as the ASSOCIATION.

b) The web site identified by the unique domain name editions.aetos.com.gr, which is the official electronic shop of the ASSOCIATION for the exhibition and retail sale of goods over the Internet, hereinafter and for brevity will be referred to as the WEB SITE.

c) The content of the WEB SITE, including images, graphics, photographs, texts and goods, hereinafter and for brevity will be referred to as the CONTENT.

d) The names, images, logos and distinctive signs displayed in the WEB SITE, hereinafter and for brevity will be referred to as the INSIGNIA.

2. Intellectual Property
The CONTENT is the intellectual property of the ASSOCIATION with reservation of all legal rights. All intellectual property rights to the CONTENT belong to the ASSOCIATION or to third parties legally concerned. Any republication or reproduction of the CONTENT through any medium, with or without alteration (in whole or in part), without prior written permission, is not allowed.

The domain names aetos.com.gr, aetoseditions.gr and hercolubus.gr which correspond to sections of the WEB SITE or lead to web pages of the same, are similarly subject to the same terms herein.

3. Trademarks
The INSIGNIA, which represent the ASSOCIATION or/and third contracting parties, as well as their products, are exclusive marks and distinctive signs of the above mentioned and are protected by the Hellenic, European Community and international laws regarding trademarks and intellectual property. In any case, their appearance and exhibition in the WEB SITE should not in any way be deemed as a transferral or a ceding of a permit or of a right to their use, without the prior written consent of the ASSOCIATION or any third legal owner of same.

4. Personal Data
The ASSOCIATION, in the application of the principles of the protection of personal data, which are specified by International Law and govern issues relating to electronic commerce, consumer protection and distance selling, shall never engage in any illicit use of personal data and by no means shall disclose, publish, sell, lease or exchange personal data and information to or with any third party.

5. Cookies policy
Cookies are small text files, which are stored in the navigation application (browser) of the visitor/user during their navigation of the WEBSITE and are necessary for its proper operation, such as in the selection of the language in which the web pages are displayed, the addition of products to the ‘shopping cart’, the use of the Contact page etc. However, the visitor/user has the ability, if they so wish, to activate an appropriate setting in their navigation application, in order to delete cookies that have been stored, to completely disable the storage of cookies etc. In the latter case, however, they will not be able to use some of the functions of the WEBSITE, such as those mentioned above.

6. Modification of the Terms Herein
The ASSOCIATION reserves the right to modify or update the terms stated herein and undertakes the obligation to inform users of the WEB SITE of any such modifications, by means of the present web page, simply by uploading a newer version of same and without any other notification, written or otherwise.

B. Methods of Payment of Orders

Payments for orders made by means of the WEB SITE can be carried out using the following two methods:

1. By credit card debit via PayPal or by debit of a PayPal account: The procedure for the settlement of the payment is carried out by the PayPal web site (www.paypal.com), which provides services for secure electronic transactions. Under no circumstances and in no way does the ASSOCIATION collect or store credit card information.

 

2. By bank account deposit: The customer deposits the payment amount of his order in the following bank account:

Then, the customer informs the ASSOCIATION about the payment, via e-mail at editions@aetos.com.gr or by phone at +30 210 3002128, so that the execution of the order may proceed.
If the implementation of the banking transaction includes any costs (e.g. remittance from another bank or country, etc.), those are entirely borne by the customer.

C. Shipment of Goods

The ASSOCIATION sends goods to its customers all over the world, using the services of the Hellenic Post (ELTA). All orders are dispatched by registered post within at most five working days from the day they are received. In case an order cannot be dispatched due to force majeure (bad weather conditions, strikes etc.), the ASSOCIATION shall contact the customer, as long as the necessary contact details are available on their part, so that they can both agree on how to complete the order. In any case the ASSOCIATION shall do whatever possible within the scope of its abilities, so that the goods reach their destination.
